Day 1: Asunción – Concepción

After breakfast we will drive from Asunción to Concepció in the north of Paraguay. On the way you have the possibility to stop to enjoy the surrounding to the fullest. In the late afternoon we will reach the cityof Concepción with its colonial flair that invites us to have a rest and something to drink in one of the numerous Cafés. We are going to spend the night in the Hotel Francés.

Day 2: Concepción

In the early morning we will drive with a little motor boat on one of the rivers into the marshes. The north of Paraguay is also known as the beginning oft the Pantanal which is one of the specioses in South America. With a little luck we might see a Caiman, a Capybara (biggest rodent of the world) or perhaps a Nandu (American Rhea). You will see birds in numberless colors and Piranha fish, that we are trying afterwards roasted on the barbeque grill. In the evening you have time to explore the 400 years old buildings of Concepción.

Day 3: Concepción - Asunción

Today we will drive back to Asunción. But first we drive direction east. On the way we will stop in one of the cigar manufactories which we will visit. Here the Cigars a still rolled by hand like they did 100 years ago. Try your ability in rolling one. After the visit we continue our way till we get back to Asunción in the late evening.
